What is BlogStock?

Why go to Blogstock?A fun packed weekend of learning, experiencing, networking and partying! There are plenty of conferences out there aimed at all different blogging niches but they all take place indoors and keep to the usual “how to” sessions. At BlogStock we like to do things a little differently! We have some of the best bloggers and social media influencers in the world providing workshops, debate sessions and talks on the latest social trends. But what makes us different is we also have workshops and talks on food and nutrition, on psychology and wellbeing, we have yoga sessions and cooking schools, wine tasting and cocktail making! Product experiences and networkings events! Not to mention the epic opening and closing parties in the evenings too. We pride ourselves on offering more than just your normal blogging conference. There’s something for everyone!

When is it and where is it?

Blogstock guideBlogStock takes place on the 4th – 6th September 2015 at the beautiful Aldenham Country Park in Elstree, London, England. It’s very easy to access thanks to its proximity to London and both the M1 and M25 motorways. We have plenty of room to park your car, plenty of camping space too and we have hot showers and very clean toilets too! If camping isn’t your thing then there’s lots of hotels within a 10 minute drive of the venue. The closest is the Village Urban Resorts Hotel and the Ramada Hotel London M1 but there are plenty more in just a few more minutes away.

Why you should go to BlogStock

There are lots of reasons to attend BlogStock! One of the most important aspects is its not genre or niche specific. Bloggers, YouTubers and Social Media influencers of all types, skill levels and experience are welcome and this mixture of fashion, travel, tech, music, gaming, family, lifestyle and beauty means you’ll learn from people outside the community you usually interact with. At BlogStock 2014 we saw a lot of cross-over between genres and some great feedback from niches, telling us how fashion bloggers taught travel bloggers how to grow their blogs in ways they previous hadn’t thought of. YouTubers taught food bloggers how to make the most of video on their blogs and Pinterest taught twitter influencers how they can grow their following even further.

All of this takes  place in a festival setting, with the sun shining on us and many different venues of various sizes across the festival site. There’s lots more activities on site to take part in too. You can learn as little or as much as you want, make new blogging connections with other attendees and network with brands who want to meet Bloggers, Vloggers and Social Influencers.

Camping!

Camping at BlogStockI highly recommend camping on site for that full-on festival experience. We have a secure and safe camp site right next to the main festival area and we have plenty of hot showers and clean toilets for you too. On site security will make sure all your belongings are safe while you’re enjoying the festival. You will of course need a tent and I’d recommend a blow up mattress and sleeping bag too. Pack for both sunny and rainy weather, this is England after all and we can’t guarantee sunshine! Last year we had both rain during the evening and beautiful sunny blue skies during the day, so you might want to pack sun cream too! As with any English festival its worth packing your wellies, an umbrella, shorts, flip flops sunglasses, a hat and a waterproof coat too! You never can tell what the whether will be like.
